
UTTAR PRADESH (Metro Rail News): Shri Surendra Kumar, Commissioner, Meerut, visited the RRTS Corridor along with other officials from Ghaziabad and Meerut districts. DM Shri K Balaji, SDM Sardana, Shri Suraj Patel, SP Traffic, Shri Jitendra Kumar Srivastava, SP Rural and other officers were present with him.
He first reviewed the pillar construction process which is to be carried out as part of the construction of Modipuram station. Some schoolchildren from Meerut accompanied him to the site who saw and understood the work being done in the RRTS corridor.
After seeing the construction of the RRTS corridor, all officers also saw the construction of Begumpul, Bhaisali and Meerut Central stations via Meerut North, Darauli and MES Colony. In the end, everyone saw the casting yard located at Shatabdi Nagar while looking at the other corridor station at Meerut.

On the same day, the second team headed by the District Magistrate of Ghaziabad, Shri Rakesh Kumar Singh visited the Anand Vihar RRTS station site. Next, the team visited the casting yard located at Karkardooma forming the tunnel segment and also visited the Ghaziabad railway station where they saw the construction works of the corridor from Ghaziabad to Meerut.
